听力原文:M: So how come you chose psychology?

W: Well, at lust I didn't have any clear idea of what I wanted to do after university, I didn't say to myself "I want to be a clinical psychologist or a researcher or anything like that". I suppose I have just always been interested in people and the way they act.

M: And what was the course like?

W: It was just great. The teachers were all really friendly and they had this special approach to teaching. The whole course was based on a problem-solving approach.

M: I see from your CV that you graduated in 1997 and after that, let me see...

W: I got a job with the department of employment. It was only a temporary thing for about six months. I used to have to design questionnaires and things like that for surveys that they carried out. And I guess the psychology course at college helped me a lot.

M: So why did you leave?

W: Well, four years is a long time to be asking people questions. You know those sorts of questions about washing powder and shampoo. After two years of doing that I felt that while I could do it well, now I want to do something else that's a little different. It just wasn't challenging for me any more and because I needed a challenge I decided to move when I heard about the position of Senior Researcher here at institute I knew that's exactly what I want.

(23)

A.Be a researcher in the area.

B.Be a clinical psychologist.

C.Know how to be a problem-solver.

听力原文:W: Dad, Dad, Dad!

M: Uh, what?

W: The movie is over. You slept through the best part.

M: Ah, ah, I must have dozed off during the last few minutes.

W: Right. You were gone for so long you should have brought your pillow and blanket. So, what did you think about it?

M: Well, overall, (19)I'm quite disappointed with the movie. I mean, the story was too weird; it's what you have to admit. I mean it, really. How believable is a plot about a captain who steers his spaceship to the far reaches of the galaxy and encounters a race of frog people. I mean, come on.

W: Well, I thought it was fantastic. I mean, you have to admit that the special effects were awesome, and the acting wasn't bad, either.

M: Ah, come on. What about the ship's communications officer? I mean, what did you think about him? Wasn't he a little weird to you? He was always talking to himself, and he had that funny hair.

W: Well, I think that's cool; you are just out of fashion. (20)Don't you think the doctor was amazing? He was so cool when he brought the captain back to life during one of the battles.

M: Oh, (20)the doctor was the only highlight of the whole movie, but from the very scene that you mentioned, it just went from bad to worse. And the photography was so fake!

W: How do you know? (21)You were snoring so loud the neighbors probably had to close their windows. It was that bad.

M: Ah, well, it's bedtime now.

(20)

A.He isn't interested in the movie.

B.He slept through the whole movie.

C.He didn't miss the best part of the movie.

D.He brought pillow with him.

听力原文:W: Hello. Is this the registration office?

M: Yes. This is Herbert speaking. How can I help you?

W: Well, I have a slight problem here. I have been in Chemistry 302B class for a month, and today Prof. Smith told me I wasn't registered in his latest class list. I thought all the while I was registered in his class and this really comes as a surprise.

M: Well, why don't you give me your student ID and I'll just check to see if you are officially registered.

W: 39241.

M: Just a minute. And you are Alice Jones, right?

W: Yes, that's me.

M: Alice, the computer shows that you are registered in Chemistry 302A and that's Dr. Nelson's class. Perhaps you have mixed up the two.

W: Oh no, I thought I'd made a switch from Nelson to Smith. How did this confusion occur? I dropped Nelson's class and switched to Smith's in the first week. I still have the add/drop form. with me.

M: In that case, I suggest you come to the registration office with the add/drop form. and we'll try to sort it out for you. I don't rule out there could have been a mistake that occurred during the add/drop process.

W: I'll be there first thing in the morning to sort out this mess. You know, I wouldn't want to switch professors when I'm now half way through.

M: I can understand that.See you tomorrow.

B.She found she was registered in Chemistry 302B.

听力原文:W: Good morning, Chuck, are you also here waiting for Professor Johnson?

M: Oh, yes. Good morning, Lori. The professor asked me to come for an interview. Do you know about the job working as a teacher's assistant?

W: Oh, yes. I know all about it as I myself did it last year.

M: Really? How did you like it?

W: Well, actually I think it was the best I have ever had at school. It paid nine dollars an hour, which was three dollars more than the school post office paid us.

M: Yeah, that is a good salary. What did you do?

W: My resposibility was to help Mr. Johnson grade the students' homework. It wasn't hard and the professor was always available if there were any questions.

M: I think I would enjoy such kind of work. And it would be very good working experience.

W: Absolutely. You can also learn how to use computer databases. That's a good preparation for lots of jobs.

M: You're right. But I'm a little worried about how much time it might take?

W: It's pretty reasonable. Only about five or six hours a week. And you can do that in your room.

M: It sounds great.

W: Good luck with your interview then.
