听力原文: Britain's Dean Durrant and his wife Alison Spooner are the luckiest people in the world because (26)they produced two sets of "black-and-white twins" within seven years. A mixed-race couple who had one black and one white twin daughter seven years ago have described how they defied the odds and did it again.
The newly-born twins were named Miya and Leah respectively. Miya has her father's black skin and Leah is white like her mother. When the first set of twins arrived in 2001, the couple were astonished to see that blueeyed, red-haired Lauren takes after her mother while (27) the older sibling Hayleigh has black skin and black hair like her father.
Alison Spooner told Sky News, "I honestly didn't think it would happen again. I thought we would have two the same, either black or white, and I didn't think we would have twins again for a start. That was a shock. "
Mr. Durrant said (27)he began to suspect they were different colors when second-born Miya arrived. He explained, "I was sure in my mind there was a difference but I didn't, think it was as much as with Hayleigh and Lauren, but obviously it is."
Miya and Leah were delivered at Frimley Park Hospital at just 37 weeks of pregnancy. (28) The babies were taken to a special care unit because they were not breathing properly so it took five days for the parents to see them side by side.
Carol Cooper, author of a book on twins, said there was a two in a million chance of a second set of twins like the Durrant girls.
