M: Not very well. I always feel tired. What's even worse, I often feel depressed for no reason. It seems that I feel tired of the Internet.

F: YOU？ Tired of the Internet？ Don't you spend at least five hours a day on the net？

M: Yes, I do. But there are times when the Net bored me to tears; however, I don't know what to do when I'm not sitting in front of the computer.

F: Oh, poor guy. I think your depression has something to do with the Internet.

M: Will the Internet cause depression？

F: Several days ago, I attended a lectured. The professor told us that Internet use appears to cause a decline in psychological health, according to research at Carnegie Mellon University. They started the research two years ago and found that even people who spent just a few hours a week on the Internet experienced more depression and loneliness than those who logged on less frequently.

M: I do not understand. I think at least the Net should be healthier than television. You know, when watching TV, we are like fools staring at the screen.
