The housework they asked people about was: preparing meals, washing dishes, cleaning the house and babysitting. 48% of British husbands said they did these kind of housework, 37% of Danish men helped in the house, 15% of Italian men said they did the housework.
But there was an interesting point of view from the wives. According to British wives, only 38% of their husbands helped in the house. And Italian wives complained that their husbands hardly ever help: The Italian and British husbands did net tell the truth! 听力原文: Hollywood produces many different kinds of films, including mysteries, musicals, love stories and horror films. Different these films may be, they generally have one thing in common -- conflict. The main character wants something very badly and will do anything to get it. The opponent tries to stop the main character from achieving his goal. This opposition creates conflict and conflict is the heart of drama. To give an example. Let's say the main character is a young man of humble origin, who wants to marry the beautiful daughter of a rich banker. The father thinks the young man is un- worthy of his daughter and he does not allow her to see him. The young man, who is very much in love, refuses to give up without a fight. The conflict between the young man and the girl's father is what makes the story interesting. It forces the main characters to take action and through their action we see them as they really are. In a good story the main character changes. He is not the same at the end of the story as he was at the beginning. He learns something from his experiences. That makes a different, perhaps a better person. And we learn, something from watching him. Good movies not only entertain us, they also help us understand a little bit more about life.

听力原文: Camping Holidays
To many people, camping seems to be an ideal way of spending a holiday. / Not only is it cheaper, / it can also be far more convenient and enjoyable. / If you have young children, / camping has particular advantages. / There is always plenty for them to do, / and they enjoy the freedom of camping compared to the discipline of staying in a hotel. / Above all, camping provides a complete change for everyone,/and afterwards you return refreshed to your normal way of life. /
To some people, however, all these advantages are outweighed by the disadvantages. / Such people will point out that on a camping holiday the mother still has to cook for everyone. / What is worse, she has to prepare meals / without the help of all the equipment in her kitchen at home. / Under bad weather, there may be too many flies and mosquitoes. / For these people a holiday in a hotel is well worth the extra expense.

听力原文: One in 10 young people claim to have had no career advice during their education.
Around two thirds have not decided on a career by the time they leave school, says the YouGov poll for recruitment consultancy, Harvey Nash.
Most rely on friends but many are turning to the Internet for advice instead, and the careers service needs to embrace this, say experts.
The knock-on effect of confusing and unhelpful careers advice is that young people are not making the best use of their skills, and industry is losing out on the most talented candidates.
Harvey Nash chief, Albert Ellis, said: "Without direction and advice, not only are young people missing out on potential career opportunities themselves, but businesses too, could be missing out on the next generation of skills they need to compete".
What is the main message of the news item?
A.Young people should seek careers advice.
B.Careers service needs to be improved.
C.Businesses are not getting talented people.
D.Careers advice is not offered on the Internet.
